Rancho Valencia is yet another pet-friendly offering from the Auberge family of properties and like the others is a secluded hideaway offering privacy, relaxation and recreation on a very intimate scale. Tucked in a private canyon in Rancho Santa Fe, the resort is just minutes from the seaside towns of Del Mar and La Jolla, but you will rarely want to leave the resort! Acres of year round flowers and lush landscaping surrounds 49 luxurious suites. Some suites offer private whirlpool spas on the patios as well as steam shower and jetted tub. The Mediterranean-Spanish decor features colorful hand-painted tile work, open-beamed ceilings, plantation shuttered windows and terra cotta tile floors.

Pet Guest Amenities

The pet program at Rancho Valencia is still under development however, I have the utmost confidence that the program will be equal to or exceed the Auberge standard for pet amenities in their other properties. (As you know, two of the Auberge properties; Calistoga Ranch and Palmetto Bluff rank as my number 1 & 2 favorite pet-friendly properties and with the execution of their planned pet program, I'm certain Rancho Valencia will rank right up there!) Beau received a metal dog tag engraved 'Rancho Valencia' and a great tug toy. The entire staff was very pet friendly and Beau was encouraged to dine with me at the on site restaurant on the outside sitting area overlooking the gorgeous, lush surrounding landscape.

Gorgeous grounds, tennis, swimming pool, private patios some with hot tubs, croquet, on-site dining, on-site concierge...all exemplary in every way!
